This is a two color screenprint that I made in my silkscreening class. I printed my address and artist statement on the back. I also made a blue version. I’m crossing my fingers that it gets me some freelance.

Here Is my latest screen print, It is based on the Creature From the Black Lagoon movie poster. Hes covered in oil from the gulf of Mexico oil spill. behind him is the cap, the fires from when they tried to burn the oil up, and the booms down in front are to block the oil from the coastlines. My classmates told me it was really cute until i pointed out those objects.

I did a linoleum cut for my Christmas card last year. It is supposed to be Christina and I in front of the National Christmas tree. We try to go every year to see it. The text is a separate cut that I did for the inside of the card. The colored print of the girl and weird random objects is something I just completed in a silk screening class that I’m taking. I wanted to do a Hawaiian themed drawing but then thought it seemed incomplete so I added in random objects that I have in my basement. That is where the record player, Ukulele, Amish Stars, tiki mask, and Yemeni Knife come from.

My wife is a bridesmaid in her friend’s wedding party. Since she is a graphic designer, she has gotten alot of the creative responsibilities like making scrapbooks, creating games, invites, and cards. I’ve been getting tapped on the shoulder a lot to make last minute illustrations for these items. The first is a characature of her being all outdoorsy and the next is for a wine tasting bachelorette party.

Its almost time for the second annual Swine Fest pig roast hosted by a friend of mine. Mumbles and I both compete for the tee shirt design for this. He won last year which is ok because I didnt even go. Here is my design for this years teeshirt.
